Overview

A developed poster series and zine highlighting the riveting documentary highlighting the trials and tribulations of one of the largest civil rights movements the country has ever seen; The Black Panther Party. Stanley Nelson released a documentary " Black Panthers: Vanguard of a Revolution",  I wanted to expand on the illustrations and social programs that Nelson exposed in the film through a small zine. 

Typography

The organization was many things. The type choices used emphasis the strength and boldness that the group possessed and projected.

Color Palette

All of the images were edited to highlight the provocative nature of the photos. The choices of color used throughout the zine are bold and rich, I wanted to reference the power, strength and overall passion of the party.
